If you are inspired by the paint bucket art currently exhibited at the Depot Theatre in Westport, New York and you’re wondering how you can have your artwork exhibited on in the highly trafficked gallery, you’re in luck! The Depot Theatre is hosting a juried art show open to all area artists. Entries are being accepted now. Here’s the timeline:

  • Deadline July 25, 2012
  • Notification July 27, 2012
  • Opening August 7, 2012

Juried Art Show Prizes

Best in Show: $100 and Solo Show at Depot Gallery!
$50 Honorable Mention Prizes

Juried Art Show Eligibility

Open to all 2-D artists/media including: photography, painting, drawing, fiber, prints, ceramics, mixed media, collage and woodwork suitable for hanging. Work on paper must be under glass or Plexiglas. Work should not exceed 36” x 36” or 50lbs and should be suitably framed and wired for hanging.

Each artist may submit one or two entries. Digital entries should have a file name that includes the artist’s last name as well as the entry number (#1 or #2). Pdf or jpeg digital file of work(s) should be submitted by email to: shamidepot@yahoo.com

Please send entry forms and $25 non-refundable entry fee to: Depot Theatre, PO Box 414, Westport, NY 12993. Check or money order should be made out to: “Depot Theatre.”

Photographs of artwork will also be considered if they are included in a SASE. Jurors will determine exhibited and non-exhibited works and awards.
