The Pink Pig on Main Street will remain open yet again through the fall and winter seasons (it’s been 5 winters that Pink Pig has been open here all year) and it has begun hosting a special weekly treat for everyone: Taco Night!
The Pink Pig will be serving tacos with different fillings and fixings, offering something new in town at night during the fall & winter months. There is something offered for everyone.
Taco Night will take place on Thursdays from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. A nice crowd gathered the previous week at the first Taco Night, and as word spreads it’s sure to grow.
“The thought was with nothing available for food in town now, we would create something for folks to gather, enjoy and have some good eats,” said owner Debbie Schrodt.
Food Essentials
Year-round the Pink Pig Cafe has offered eggs from Essex Farm, along with vegetables, jam, honey, maple syrup and other local goods from area farms and producers.
The Cafe is considering expanding the selection a little to ensure it is stocked with “Food Essentials,” such as bread, milk, eggs, etc. for those in a pinch who might need it. What do you think? Would that be useful for you?
The Pink Pig Cafe is also open for breakfast and lunch. Stop by for a bite during the day! Follow on Facebook to see what’s currently on the menu.
