The Champlain Valley Film Series will present the film Ida on Saturday, Dec. 5, at 7:30 p.m. at the Whallonsburg Grange Hall.
Winner of the Academy Award for Best Foreign Film, Ida is a timeless story about one woman’s search for identity. In 1960s Poland, a young novitiate nun is on the verge of taking her vows when she discovers a dark family secret dating back to the years of the Nazi occupation.
