The Champlain Valley Film Series will present the film Indignation on Saturday, Dec. 3, at 7:30 p.m. at the Whallonsburg Grange Hall.
Based on Philip Roth’s novel, this love story, set in 1951, follows a brilliant working class Jewish boy as he attends a small, conservative college in Ohio to avoid being drafted to the Korean War. Infatuation with a beautiful classmate and conflicts with the imposing Dean fuel a film “that will remain with audiences long after they leave the theater” – Chicago Sun-Times
Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for those under 18. The Whallonsburg Grange Hall is located at 1610 NYS Route 22 at the intersection with Whallons Bay Road. For more information, contact info@cvfilms.org.
