“DISRUPTION tells the story of the greatest crisis humankind has ever faced and the movement to fight it.”
Vermont Commons School begins its annual 3-Part Documentary Series with the screening of this important film on October 29th, 6:00PM. By weaving commentary from recognized voices analyzing climate, politics and society today, the film brings the issue of global warming to the streets in a call to action.
The panel discussion will include such local climate change experts as DR. MAEVE MCBRIDE, Coordinator of 350vt.org; DR. ALAN BETTS of Atmospheric Research in Pittsford and Vermont’s leading Climate Scientist; ANDREA LLOYD, plant ecologist and Professor of Biology at Middlebury College and STACI LASKER, Vice-President of Operations and Administration at New Leaf Paper.
This event is free and open to the public.
