Jennifer is passionate about coaching clients on how to make gradual, lifelong changes so that they can reach their current and future health goals. She firmly believes that everyone has unique and individual body types, lifestyles, preferences, and goals. About Jennifer
Jennifer de Jongh-Leclerc is a certified health and wellness coach who helps those who are looking to make a change in their life and focus on what is best for that individual and their lifestyle. Jen’s coaching approach includes making gradual, lifelong changes that enable you to reach your current and future health goals.
She has had a passion for nutrition and wellness for over 25 years, which was initiated by working on her own diet and health at the age of seventeen. As a dancer, she started to become aware of her own body and noticed the correlation between the food that you put in your body and how you live your daily life directly affected how you felt and performed.
After being in the Nutrition program through SUNY and then having the opportunity to become a certified coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, she then realized that each individual had very different body types, lifestyles, goals and needs that didn’t necessarily fit the government regulated nutrition information being marketed to the public. Jennifer branched out and started using her knowledge to then address health issues for her husband, her two children, friends and family. She continues her education through online courses in nutrition, wellness, and cooking from Stanford University, as well as other workshops and conferences.
Drawing on this knowledge, she will help you create a completely personalized “roadmap to health” that suits your unique body, lifestyle, preferences and goals. Jennifer’s beliefs have transformed into the notion that for health, there needs to be balance between lifestyle and nutrition.
Jennifer has created her own business called Mind, Body and Balance Health Coaching. She works with NEW Health Wellness Center out of Essex, NY and supports clients in the Upstate New York area. She offers a variety of programs and services that include individual coaching, workshops, nutrition support, menu planning and lifestyle changes to meet individual goals.
