Essex Inn Offers New Features

This summer the Essex Inn has come up with several new features to make a stay there even more special. Guests not only get to enjoy a peaceful stay in one of the inn’s quaint rooms and have access to wonderful stay-in dining, but now the inn is taking advantage of its scenic Champlain Valley location to offer fantastic outdoor opportunities!

Essex Inn Picnic Baskets

Overnight guests of the Essex Inn on the Adirondack Coast can now enjoy a gourmet picnic by Lake Champlain, or perhaps on one of the Champlain Area Trails! This special amenity features tantalizing filet mignon wraps with delicious sides and a fine bottle of wine (red or white– you choose!), all carefully packaged in a charming, classic wicker picnic basket. $60 for a 2 person basket. $110 for a 4 person basket.

Kayak and Bicycle Rentals

The Essex, NY countryside is a perfectly picturesque place to bike, and Lake Champlain offers a close destination for water sports! The Essex Inn on the Adirondack Coast is now exploiting these beautiful features and offering kayak and bicycle rentals! Starting last weekend you can rent a new kayak with full gear, or a new bike (mountain or cruiser) for summer fun and adventure in Essex!

Rates are $20 an hour, $40 for 3 hours, or $75 all day.
