Jennifer Baker, a fine arts conservationist from North Ferrisburgh, Vermont, discusses artifact identification with a workshop participant at the Adirondack History Museum in Elizabethtown, NY. Individuals were encouraged to bring items for conservation appraisals, or photos and photo albums to discuss proper methods of maintenance at the workshop. The museum also supplied items as examples. The October 16th workshop was attended by over 20 local historians, and served as the final event of the museum’s 2015 regular season.
The O.B. Brewster Memorial Library remains open by appointment only for individuals researching Essex County and Adirondack history.
