Water Woes
Our water and sewer lines are frozen and the ginder motor on our sewer line has burned out. The town has been very responsive and is working to solve these problems quickly. In the meantime, the library is open as usual but we have no water or bathroom facilities.
[Update: The issue was solved the very day this post came out. See the comment below for more details.]Tom Mangano

Tina Gardner, WWTP Operator says
As of yesterday 01/15/14 the sewer is up and running again at the library, the water was thawed last week but with no sewer you can’t use the water. The grinder pump was replaced and we used a steamer to thaw the frozen sewer line in the ground. A big thank you to my husband Alan Gardner of Gardner’s Plumbing & Heating for helping me. He volunteered his service to the library. I am working with the library so we can avoid this problem happening again in the cold winter months.
