Beggs Park is one of our area’s most visited recreational sites. Every year thousands of people come to our park for picnics, weddings, playground use, fishing, swimming, sports, 4th of July events or simply to sit and enjoy the views of Lake Champlain and the Green Mountains of Vermont.
Our park has many great amenities, and we are looking to improve upon this by purchasing two heavy duty park style charcoal grills. We envision families being able to have a pleasurable picnic with an available high quality grill to use. The Town of Essex has agreed to support this fundraising effort and will assist with the installation.
As part of our community service outreach efforts for the Willsboro Central School National Honor Society, we need your help to turn this idea into reality! We have a fundraising goal of $750 to purchase the two grills and the accessories needed for years of maintenance. Any additional money raised will be used towards the Beggs Park maintenance and improvements.
