Tickets Sold on Boat
Lake Champlain Transportation has also announced that when the schedule changes the booth at the Essex crossing will close and tickets must be purchased aboard the ferry throughout the winter.
“The tickets will now be sold on the boat at the Charlotte – Essex crossing. If you use a commuter card you will have to switch over to the commuter books because they will be unable to scan your card during the months that they sell the tickets on the boat.
You can use the remaining balance on your commuter card to put towards a commuter book. You can pick up the commuter books at the office in Burlington, or have them mailed certified to you.” (LCT)
