The 2016 winter season features six movies beginning on January 16th with the Hitchcock-like thriller, Phoenix. There’s a FREE family movie on Sunday, the 17th at 2:00 PM: Inside Out is a funny, charming adventure, from the makers of Toy Story and Cars. Next is The Martian, a thrilling survival tale staring Matt Damon, and Meru, an awe-inspiring true story of climbing in the Himalayas, and Steve Jobs, an astonishing bio-pic about the creator of the iMac and iPhone. The season closes on March 12th with Bridge of Spies, a true-life Cold War spy story by Steven Spielberg introduced by the hero’s granddaughter.
Except for the family movie, all films will be shown on Saturdays at 7:30 PM, at the Whallonsburg Grange Hall located at 1610 NYS Route 22 at the intersection with Whallons Bay Road. Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for those under 18.
