“Celebrate Earth Day on Sunday, April 22nd!
Join millions of people around the world in a day to nurture nature and the planet. Come be part of these events at the Grange:
11am Family Nature Walk: All ages welcome. Join Jen and Gregg, local naturalists, as they lead a child-friendly walk on the nature trail near Black Kettle Farm. Meet at the Grange and we’ll shuttle up Cook Road.
All day, anytime Take A Hike: Stop by the Grange and pick up a map of the Champlain Area Trail System (CATS) trails nearby. Take a walk in the woods on your own right from the Grange and come back for refreshments after.
1-3pm Bike Clinic: Learn how to tune-up and repair your bicycle with volunteers from Pedal Power. Bring your own or come watch and learn on demo bikes. Get ready for spring riding.
3pm Queen of the Sun: What Are the Bees Telling Us? A documentary film that takes us on a journey through the catastrophic disappearance of bees and the mysterious world of the beehive. An engaging and ultimately uplifting film that weaves an unusual and dramatic story of the heartfelt struggles of beekeepers, scientists and philosophers from around the world.
