Also, with the assistance of visiting theatrical arts designer and director, Andrew Hall, campers will learn behind-the-scene secrets on creating the best mask and costume magic. Campers will be shown how to design and create basic costumes and props (think-wands, crowns, swords…!). We will use a wide range of techniques and mediums including beads, feathers, raffia, paints, Plaster of Paris, embellished papers, and more. The artists may wear one of their masks and ensembles for the final gallery showing on the last camp day.
