The Whallonsburg Grange in Essex, NY welcomes The Steady Benders, for a “Swing into Summer” dance and dinner on Saturday, June 2. The evening features a cookout dinner starting at 5:00pm, swing dance lessons at 6:30pm and live music and dancing into the night. The proceeds from this event will benefit local farmer James Graves who was injured in an accident in April.
The Steady Benders deliver a mix of rockabilly, blues, country and Cajun music that gets everyone dancing. The quartet features catchy vocals from Lee Adams on guitar, Eric O’Hara on vocals, pedal steel and guitar, Steve Feinbloom on bass, and Matt Farnsworth on drums and vocals.
Tickets are a suggested donation of $10 for the dinner and $8 for the dance; $15 for both. James is a volunteer firefighter and farmer at Full and By Farm in Essex. All funds raised will help with his expenses.
