The Grange will host an in-person presentation and discussion of A Wild Idea, which details the founding of the Adirondack Park Agency (APA) and the way it’s shaped the North Country. Based on in-depth interviews with more than five dozen insiders central to the story, A Wild Idea has been called “necessary reading” by Phil Terrie, and “a comprehensive and fascinating account of a truly important moment in the planet’s conservation history” by Bill McKibbon.
Journalist Brad Edmundson (www.bradedmondson.com) is the author of several other books, including Ice Cream Social: The Struggle for the Soul of Ben & Jerry’s. He and his wife, Tania Werbizky, live in Ithaca, New York.
Books will be available for sale and signing at the lecture.
