Champlain Valley Film Series presents a weekend of films at the Whallonsburg Grange Hall.
On Saturday, Jan. 16 at 7:30 PM the CVFS will show Phoenix, a breathtaking thriller that follows a survivor as she sifts through the ashes of post-war Germany. Like Hitchcock’s Vertigo, it’s a timeless film that explores the questions of guilt, forgiveness and identity. Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for those under 18.

On Sunday, Jan. 17 at 2:00 PM is a FREE family movie, Inside Out, which turns the everyday world of childhood into a thrilling adventure. From the makers of Toy Story and Cars it’s “an absolute delight — funny and charming, fast-moving and full of surprises,” according to The New York Times.
The Whallonsburg Grange Hall is located at 1610 NYS Route 22 at the intersection with Whallons Bay Road. For more information, contact info@cvfilms.org or call 963-4170.
