The Westport Library Association is pleased to announce that in 2026 it will host a series of programs titled “Celebrating the Nation: A Season of Heritage & Hope.”
Produced by artists, musicians, and scholars for children and adults, the series will celebrate the experiences of people living in the Champlain Valley in 1776, and celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary.
Highlights include a choral concert featuring the Willsboro Central School District Chorus, an art-making workshop for children, a performance-based workshop featuring the Fife and Drum Corps of Fort Ticonderoga, an interactive tour of musical Americana, and an engaging talk about the social, cultural, and political history around Cider, the earliest of American beverages.
