The Champlain Valley Film Series, in order to help keep our community healthy, we won’t be showing movies at the Grange this winter. Instead, the Home Together Winter Film Series has picked five movies – with an additional 3 more for the SPRING – you can watch anytime on your own at home and then join a REEL TALK via Zoom. You can listen to a provocative discussion about the film by a special guest and submit your own questions. We can be Home Together with great movies and lively speakers until we can be together in person in front of the big screen at the Grange again.
Participants are to watch the film, MANGROVE [is streaming on Netflix] on their own, and join for a live Zoom “Reel Talk” with a discussion on the movie with Andy Buchanan, a lecturer in American history at the University of Vermont, teaching courses in American and global history, and U.S. military history. This Reel Talk: Saturday, March 13 at 7:30pm.
Questions may be submitted to the moderator or you can present it yourself in the second portion of the program.
The Zoom Event is Free and Open to the public, but registration is required. Links may be found at the Grange’s Website. This is the fifth movie in the Winter Home Together Series, but they will be expanding it into the Spring with 3 more films on the following dates: March 27th; April 10th & April 24th.
