Champlain Valley Film Series to Show DARKEST HOUR

The Champlain Valley Film Series will present the film Darkest Hour on Saturday, March 31, at 7:30 p.m. at the Whallonsburg Grange Hall.

This is the electrifying, true story of Winston Churchill’s heroic fight to save Britain from the seeming unstoppable Nazis during the pivotal moment in the early days of World War II.

“Gary Oldman is one of the greatest actors on the planet.” –Rolling Stone

Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for those under 18. This season’s film series is generously sponsored by the following businesses: Deer’s Head Inn; Champlain Area Trails, Lake Champlain Yoga & Wellness; Ledge Hill Brewing Company; Pok-O-MacCready Camps and Outdoor Education Center.

About Whallonsburg Grange Hall

The Grange Hall is managed by the Whallonsburg Civic Association, a 501(c)3 nonprofit through an agreement with the Town of Essex. The building is now one of the "destinations" in the region for films, music, theater, lectures and other community events.
