Champlain Valley Film Series to Show LA LA LAND

The Champlain Valley Film Series will present the film La La Land on Saturday, May 6, at 7:30 p.m. at the Whallonsburg Grange Hall.

Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone star in this acclaimed film which received 14 Oscar nominations including Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director, and Best Screenplay. Like Singin’ in the Rain, this is a magical, joyful, funny, musical love story.

Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for those under 18. The Whallonsburg Grange Hall is located at 1610 NYS Route 22 at the intersection with Whallons Bay Road. For more information, contact info@cvfilms.org.

About Whallonsburg Grange Hall

The Grange Hall is managed by the Whallonsburg Civic Association, a 501(c)3 nonprofit through an agreement with the Town of Essex. The building is now one of the "destinations" in the region for films, music, theater, lectures and other community events.
