Do you like sweet treats? Well, the Cookie-Cup-Cakery in Willsboro, NY, may be the place for you to find them! Opened July 2012, this bakery offers delicious baked goods for walk-ins and also takes custom orders.

Owner and baker Michelle Barber shared with me that everything is freshly made, including handmade decorations, with local ingredients when possible:

We sell a wide variety of baked goods and custom cakes for all occasions. Everything we make is fresh, baked daily and from scratch (no pre-made boxed or frozen products, no added chemicals or preservatives). We support local farmers, farmers markets and co-ops by using local ingredients whenever possible (ie: eggs, spices, milk, fruits and anything else we are able to get our hands on).

Barber started selling her baked goods with the Willsboro Farmers Market 2010-2011, but decided to expand and opened Cookie-Cup-Cakery with her mother, Tina Dombrowski, last year.

“We offer a wide variety of breads, rolls, bagels, muffins, scones, pastries, danishes, cookies, cakes, cupcakes, cakes, cake-pops, cakes-to-go, cake-by-the-slice, chocolates, candies, European treats, party platters, seasonal items and much more,” Barber said. “We like to create a new item each week.” (Denpubs)

Barber makes weekly breads for the Willsboro Senior Center and on Wednesday and Friday has bread available in the shop, but will take orders for bread any other day of the week.

Specialty Foods

Barber tries to have a few items to offer customers with special dietary needs.

I offer 1 or 2 Gluten Free products, because I have 4-5 customers (that come in frequently) that are not Celiac and are able to eat GF even though we also use regular flour in the bakery. I don’t have any objection to trying Lactose Free products as long as the local support is there. We usually try to carry a Sugar-Free cookie for Diabetics too.

Tuesday – Friday: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
Saturday: 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
