
The Essex-Charlotte ferry is about to begin its spring schedule. See the details below:
Essex-Charlotte Ferry Spring Schedule: May 5, 2014 through June 11, 2014
The ferries operating at this crossing will arrive hourly in the morning and evening and every half-hour in between.
Departs NY: 6:30 am-8:30 pm
Arrives every hour from 6:30 am to 10:30 am and 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. On the half-hour between 11:00 am until 5:30 pm.
Departs VT: 6:00 am-8:00 pm
Arrives every hour from 6:00 am to 10:00 am and 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. On the half-hour between 10:30 am until 5:00 pm.

Essex-Charlotte Ferry Tips
Here are some reminders for commuters to remember about the Essex ferry crossing:
- All LCT ferries currently have a 1% fuel surcharge that is applied to each ticket sale (as of since May 1,2014).
- For those unaware LCT no longer sells round trip tickets. There is a discount commuter card or commuter books available for those who frequently use the ferry and want to save some money if that option suits you. Call 802-864-9804 to learn more.
- This particular crossing takes about 25 minutes. So don’t forget to factor that into your travel time!
- Credit cards are currently not accepted at this crossing location.
