A great idea. I only wish there would be an open house later in the summer when all the “summer folk”, like me, were around. I was a volunteer in my local fire company as a teen…many moons ago. The company’s motto, much to the distress of locals…”We have never lost a foundation!” It was a joke belied by the great work the company did in all emergencies. Lots of self-deprecating humor in southwestern PA.
