Trail Name Signs
Have you ever arrived at a CATS trail but you weren’t sure if it was the right trail? Now, thanks to a grant from Essex County’s Department of Public Health, Creating Healthy Places Program, there will be signs at each trailhead naming the trail. Here’s the first sign we put up (to the right)—it’s at the new Wildway Passage Trail. Soon you’ll see them at our other trails too. Thank you Essex County for helping to create healthy places.
Owl Prowl
There are still spaces available in our second “Owl Prowl.” Join Naturalist Gregg Van Deusen at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 21st as he leads our second moonlit early-evening hike on Bobcat Trail and make owl calls to elicit responses from owls in the woods and field.
As before, we are limited to 25 participants, so please register early by clicking HERE or call us at 518-962-2287. Suggested $5/person.
Christmas in Essex
CATS will have a booth at Christmas in Essex on Saturday, December 13 from 9:30AM – 3:00PM. Stop by. We’ll be inside Lake Champlain Yoga & Wellness on Main Street. Go to www.christmasinessex.com for more details of that day’s events.
