It’s that time of year again! Our 35th Annual “Downtown Essex Day“ is scheduled for Saturday, August 2, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (rain or shine). Essex Initiatives will be organizing the event for the town and invites your participation.

Local artists, craft-makers, farmers, designers, and businesses of all kinds are invited to have an exhibit to display and sell their wares (or just promote yourself or your business/organization) during this town-wide celebration! The deadline to reserve a space is July 7, 2014.

Downtown Essex Day Exhibitor Spaces

Shop owners, businesses, organizations, and town residents have first choice on using the space in front of their respective establishments. Remaining spaces will be assigned after July 7th in the order that completed registration forms have been received; priority will be given to returning exhibitors wanting the same location as last year.

No canopies will be permitted on curbside locations. They block other exhibitors. Exhibitors with their own canopies will be placed on the lawn area next to Town Hall at the corner of Main St. and Rte. 22. NOTE: Canopy size is limited to 10′ x 10′ or smaller.

Behind Essex Town Hall, on Station St. (Rte. 22), a large tent will be provided for exhibitors who request this space. This tent will be 20′ x 30′ with a walkway—depending on the number of tent reservations received. These spaces are approximately 8′ x 8′. Tables/chairs are not provided.

Space assignments will be mailed by about July 13, 2014. Spaces will be assigned only after full payment is received. Sorry no refunds.
