The Old Dock House Restaurant will be opening for its 2014 Season on Friday, May 23. According to an Old Dock source the lakeside restaurant is planning to be open daily for lunch at noon closing at ?? The kitchen usually serves until 10 pm depending on demand and the bar will stay open until ?? So it looks like demand is the factor that closes the kitchen—or more accurately keeps it open! Stop by for lunch, dinner, or drinks.
The Old Dock Restaurant is a seasonal restaurant and bar… [accessible] by automobile, private boat [and ferry]… Slips are available for our guests who arrive by boat. Passengers on the Charlotte-Essex ferry have the option to leave their automobiles in the free parking lot at Charlotte and when they arrive in Essex stroll a few feet to the Old Dock. The Old Dock specializes in hearty pub fare and seafood. With pasta and salad options also available. They also offer gluten-free items on the menu as of 2013. I wonder what will be new on the menu this summer? Can’t wait to find out! Eat inside or out on the patio with beautiful waterfront views.
