The 2016 Decentralization Grant Award recipients will be honored at an Award Ceremony on April 30 at the Adirondack Carousel where they will have the opportunity to present their projects in an informal setting.
Decentralization Grant Coordinator Kathleen Recchia shares some insight into the event, “This is our second, four-county DEC Awards Ceremony and the first time we are taking it outside the Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts. We’re so excited to be hosting the event at the Adirondack Carousel which is itself a remarkable demonstration of Adirondack artists at work. It’s great to be able to share that with artists from all over the North Country and give them all a chance to present their own projects and discuss opportunities for partnership.”
