As we navigate the complicated landscape of the COVID-19 world, the Belden Noble Memorial Library will continue to offer Curbside Pickup only for library materials including hardcover books, paperback books, audiobooks, and DVDs. We will continue to keep you up to date on any changes in library services as things evolve. Currently, we can only offer you library materials that are owned by the Belden Noble Memorial Library.
Beginning on July 6, 2020, we will be open Mondays from 2 to 4 pm in addition to our current hours which are Thursdays 1 to 6pm, Fridays 12 to 5pm; and Saturdays from 10am to 5pm.
You can request library materials that reside at another Clinton Essex Franklin Library System (CEFLS) member libraries; however, the library materials will need to be requested and picked up directly from that particular library, and also returned directly to that library by you. Your BNML membership card can be used at all CEFLS member libraries. Library materials can only be requested by phone or email. Please note that not all libraries are offering Curbside Pickup at this point.
CEFLS recently informed us that inter-library loan will become available again beginning the week of July 6th. Online requesting will also become available again at that time. In the meantime, please visit our online catalog at essexlibrary.org, where you will be able to view all of the materials currently available at the Belden Noble Memorial Library. Requests from our library can be made by calling 518-963-8079 during library hours, or by emailing beldennoblelibrary@gmail.com at any time. Requests will be filled when the library is staffed on open days only. When your request is filled, you will be called or emailed (whichever you prefer). Pickups can only be completed during library hours. Please respect social distancing and wear a face mask when picking up library materials. Your safety is our number one priority.
Library materials may be returned to our book return bin located outside the library at any time.
Please note that we will be closed on Friday July 3rd and Saturday, July 4th, but will be open on Thursday, July 2rd, from 1 am to 6 pm. As always, thank you for your continued patience and support of the Belden Noble Memorial Library.
Be well and stay safe!
