Adirondack autumn means abundant harvest and Canada geese V-ing south and warm socks. It means crisp mornings and dry air hikes and — of course — Adirondack autumn is spectacular fall foliage.
And since I’ve been feeling slightly shortchanged this year in the fall foliage department, I’m going to pass along three dazzling videos that filled the void for me. I’m hoping they’ll inspire you too.
Before soaring into this first celestial glimpse at 2019 fall foliage I’d like to offer a grateful hat tip to Adirondack Trailhead (@adktrailhead) for putting me onto these joyful mementos.
Adirondack Peak Fall Foliage
Congratulations, Kurt Von (check out Kurt Von Studios and Kurt Von’s Instagram feed) for this super slick eye in the sky. And thanks for that vicarious glimpse into the ADK fall foliage I was longing to enjoy.
Adirondacks in the Fall
I know less about the “movie maker” (aka Brrrttt) who created this moody, cinematic fall foliage video. But it’s a wonder to behold.
Adirondack Colors
Credit for this final fall foliage video goes to Cooper Neel. A riot of reds and oranges and yellows! Thank you.
