This Sunday, July 20th: Song, Dance and Anti-Consumer Sermon!
I’m writing to invite you to a performance and potluck with the Rev. Billy and the Church of Stop Shopping Gospel Choir.
There are 25 singer/members of this anti-consumerism, anti-globalization gospel choir, who are “on retreat” for the weekend at my house (I’m Severine v T Fleming) in Essex. With them is Rev. Billy, who is a performance artist, activist, preacher and author, and Savitri D who runs the choir, and their daughter Lena. They are willing to perform for us (a late sermon) for Sunday Lunch, to be followed by a community potluck at my house, all are welcome. More details below.
