Shelburne Vineyard and Lake Champlain Grape Growers Association are teaming up with local farms to offer a cold-hardy grape seminar, tips from a sommelier, wine tasting, and a five-course gourmet dinner with wine pairings at the Essex Inn!

2 PM Seminar by Ken Albert — owner of Shelburne Vineyard, recognized as New England’s finest winery by Yankee Magazine — and other North Country grape growers:
- Making Cold Hardy Wines
- Growing Grapes in the North Country, America’s new viticulture region
- Balancing ecological sensitivity & organic practices with profitability & quality
- Emerging trends – new wines, old practices
4 PM Tips from a sommelier: Selecting, storing, pouring, and enjoying wine
5 PM Sample wines from Shelburne Vineyard & other North Country wineries
7 PM Enjoy a gourmet five-course dinner featuring perfectly paired local food and wine
