Dance Party at Grange

First annual WPTSO (Westport Central School Parent Teacher Student Organization) sponsored DANCE PARTY! at the Whallonsburg Grange! Move to the music of the 80’s, 90’s and now while supporting educational initiatives at Westport Central School. This is a family-friendly, community-wide event that will bring our school community together with our friends and neighbors from around the region. Don’t miss this chance to let loose and cure your cabin fever on the dance floor.

Family Dance: 7:00pm to 8:00pm. Bring your little ones out to dance to some kids favorites and classics! Rip it up like you do in your kitchen, play room and family rooms, but this time with a real ‘dance party’ feel. Your pre-school through elementary aged kids will love the freedom to move and groove to familiar songs and rhythms (complete with incredible sound and light show!)

Open Floor: 8:00pm. Turn it up a notch with an awesome dance music mix from the 80’s, 90’s and now. If you are one of those people who can’t sit still when they hear a great beat, this is your chance to MOVE! Alone, in a group, with a friend, with a neighbor, JUST DANCE!

Request Line: Have a song (or songs) that you (or your kids) really love to dance to? One that every time you hear, you put your hands in the air like you just don’t care? Let us know! Message us and indicate when you want the song played: during Family Dance or Open Floor. We’ll collect all of the requested songs and pass them along to our DJ for the playlist.

Please note: smoking, alcohol, or illegal drug use is not permitted at this event (in the building or on the grounds).

Every single dollar we make at this event will go towards supporting and nourishing all aspects of the educational and social environment at Westport Central School.
