Come join in on the festivities as we celebrate the 40th annual Essex Day on Saturday, August 3, 2019! We are closing off Main Street to allow for pedestrian traffic to freely move about the beautiful hamlet. Dozens of vendors and crafters will be selling their wares on Main Street as well as many local residents opening their yards for their own yard sales.
We are planning on a street fair with 4 local bands: Joan Crane & Steve Feinbloom, Lee Adams & Yannig Tanguy, Donna Joerg and local favorite “Back in Time”. There will also be a variety of food options by local restaurants and churches. Take time to stroll the historic hamlet.
VERMONTERS – your walk on ticket between the hours of 10-12pm is reduced 50% thanks to the Lake Champlain Transportation Company.
We also have an outdoor basketball free throw contest for adults and kids alike as well as pony rides all day long.
Bring a dish to share and your own table ware for a community long table dinner right on Main Street starting at 3pm. The weather for the day looks to be spectacular! Come celebrate 40 years of summertime fun in Essex!
