Adirondack Art Association Call for Volunteers to Help With 2016 Season
Seen greeting customers at the sales desk, helping organize and catalog artworks for exhibits, gardening in the lawn, and much more, Adirondack Art Association volunteers contribute in a multitude of ways. With the summer season approaching, the Adirondack Art Association is currently looking for volunteers.
Volunteer opportunities include exhibition and gallery preparers, lawn care providers, front desk greeter and sales people, children’s workshop teaching assistants, gallery reception and special events staff, general cleaning volunteers. Summer internships are also available for High School seniors and college students looking for art administration experience.
The AAA is currently looking for volunteers to help prepare the gallery for the season opening during the month of May. Volunteers are also needed from May 27 to October 15, 2016 to help with a variety of tasks. Shifts and volunteer schedules at the AAA are flexible according to the needs of the organization, the task at hand, and the volunteer’s availability.
Those interested in volunteering should email AAA Director, Christina Elliott, at info@adirondackartassociation.com and plan on attending one of the Volunteer Orientations; either on Monday, May 2 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm or on Monday, June 27 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.
