Dear Belden Noble Library Patrons,
As the COVID-19 Coronavirus and its impact continue to evolve and develop, the Belden Noble Memorial Library (BNML) remains focused on the health and safety of our Patrons, Volunteers, Staff, and community. With the rapidly changing challenges brought about by the threat of the Coronavirus, we are taking precautionary actions to mitigate exposure and reduce the impact of the Coronavirus on our Patrons, Volunteers and Staff; therefore, the BNML will be temporarily closed until further notice.
During this time we encourage you to use our digital tools, such as E-Books, (Overdrive or Libby), E-Audiobooks (rb digital or Overdrive) and E-Magazines (Flipster). You can access these digital materials on the Clinton Essex Franklin Library System (CEFLS) website at CEFLS.org. Go to their home page and click on “Ebooks and More” and then click on E-Audiobooks, E-Books or E-Magazines. Tutorials for these digital tools are available on the CEFLS.org website. You can also download the applications for rb digital, Overdrive, Libby, and Flipster directly onto your electronic device.
Please feel free to hold onto the books you have already checked out until we can open again. Any late fines for books you have already checked out will be waived. The CEFLS van delivery has been temporarily suspended, so books that you have requested will not be available until the van service can resume.
As always, thank you for being loyal Patrons. Please check either our website (essexlibrary.org) or the CEFLS.org website for further updates. If there are any questions, please feel free to email me at beldennoblelibrary@gmail.com or call me Thursday through Saturday from noon to 5pm at 518-963-8079.
The CEFLS.org website also has information on the 2020 Census, as the Census will be conducted primarily online for the first time.
Wifi is available outside the Essex Town Hall, and no password is required. Wifi is also available outside our library and the password is readbooksdaily.
On behalf of the Board and myself, Stay Healthy and Happy!
Best,
Hillary Hollister-Hinge
Director
