Big Week at the Library!

The coming week will be a big one at the library.

Our series, Getting to Know Your Neighbors, continues on Thursday, December 6, at 7:00 p.m., with Town Supervisor Ron Jackson, son Craig, and grandson Ben sharing three generations of stories about growing up in Essex.

On Saturday, December 8 (Christmas in Essex Day), at 3:00 p.m., Steven Kellogg will present a program featuring several of his books including The Day the Goose Got Loose, the story of a freedom-loving goose. Steven will draw several of the characters that pop up in the stories. Books will be available, and proceeds from all sales will benefit the library.

And our Silent Auction, including over 60 fabulous items, will continue throughout the week. The auction concludes at 4:00 p.m. on December 8.

About Belden Noble Library

Established in 1899, the Belden Noble Memorial Library serves the Essex community and is a member of the Clinton-Essex-Franklin Library System. It is located across from the ferry dock at 2759 Essex Road. Colleen Van Hoven is President of the Board of Trustees. Hillary Hollister-Hinge is the Library Director.
