Free summit hosted by Adirondack Birth to Three Alliance
The Adirondack Birth to Three Alliance, a program of Adirondack Foundation, is hosting a summit for school administrators, child care providers, parents, teachers, pediatricians and others involved in the lives of young children.
Featuring keynote speaker Rachel Wagner, Bridge to School: Building School Readiness in our Youngest Learners focuses on ways to build resilience and school readiness for kids advancing from preschool to kindergarten. Wagner is an early childhood mental health specialist and national trainer with the Devereux Center for Resilient Children and author of FLIP IT! Transforming Challenging Behavior.
A panel discussion with local experts will follow. Continuing education credits are available.
The Bridge to School summit is taking place on Saturday, September 28, 2019, from 8 a.m. – noon, at the Crowne Plaza in Lake Placid, NY. Admission is free; participants must register online here: bit.ly/BT3Conference2019
