Champlain Area Trails has some great news! We were awarded a grant of $70,000 over two years to hire a stewardship coordinator to oversee trails, manage volunteers, monitor conservation properties, and handle outdoor education initiatives.
A major reason we received the grant is the strong public and financial support for CATS and our goal of saving land and making trails. This means you, so we thank you for making this possible!
The grant does present a challenge—that we raise $33,500 over two years as matching funds. We have already raised about 1/3 of that amount, are working to raise the rest, and must fully fund the position after two years. You can help us reach this goal. Please click here to contribute to the match. Just select LTA-NYSCPP-2015 Grant from the dropdown menu at the top of the form to direct your donation toward this match. With your continued support, we will certainly meet that challenge.
Be sure to attend…
