CATS Grand Hike Block Party

So, you hike all or part of the Grand Inn-to-Inn Hike this Saturday, arrive at the Essex Inn and join the block party that goes from 4–7 pm. Or you skip the hike and just come to the party. What will you find?

Food and Drinks – The Essex Inn is grilling BBQ chicken, corn on the cob, sausage, peppers and onions, vegetarian options, and herbed potato salad for just $15.00. Plus beer and soda, provided by hike sponsor Sim*Vivo will be on the menu at the Essex Inn.

Music – Enjoy the Riddlers, a “movin’ and grooving” rock and roll band.

Restoritive Yoga – Lake Champlain Yoga & Wellness is offering 10-15 minute sessions of Restorative Yoga to renew and refresh after the hike

Chair Massage – Recharge with a relaxing chair massage also provided by Lake Champlain Yoga & Wellness.

Kids Art Table – Your kids will love the Erin C. Hall Studio art table to play around with some creative art projects after the hike. Try your hand at a project or just swing on by to see some fun projects being created!

Photo Booth – Celebrate your hike with a 4×6 photo keepsake from Overtime Photography.

The inn will remain open past 7PM, although other activities will end.

About Champlain Area Trails (CATS)

Champlain Area Trails (CATS) is a non-profit organization, begun in 2009, which creates and maintains hiking and cross-country ski trails in the Champlain Valley that link communities, connect people with nature, and promote economic vitality. In its short history, CATS has developed 35 miles of trails that when added to existing trails, gets it half-way toward the long-envisioned goal of a 30-mile trail loop between Westport and Essex.
