CATS Grand Hike: Shuttles at Oases

The Grand Inn to Inn Hike is just four days away! Hike with friends, meet new people, and enjoy a springtime walk in the Champlain Valley from Westport to Essex on Saturday, May 9th.

Late Breaking News – The Town of Willsboro is providing a shuttle-van for hikers at the oases. If you felt unsure about walking the entire hike because you were concerned about getting transportation back to your car or between oases, you can now rest-assured. Walk all or part of the way and plan to arrive at the Essex Inn at 4:00 p.m. for the Block Party. Special thanks to the Town of Willsboro and Rebecca Palmer for the oases shuttle.

About Champlain Area Trails (CATS)

Champlain Area Trails (CATS) is a non-profit organization, begun in 2009, which creates and maintains hiking and cross-country ski trails in the Champlain Valley that link communities, connect people with nature, and promote economic vitality. In its short history, CATS has developed 35 miles of trails that when added to existing trails, gets it half-way toward the long-envisioned goal of a 30-mile trail loop between Westport and Essex.
