Rick Dalton, CEO and president of College For Every Student (CFES), is traveling to the University of Oxford in England next week to share insights from the organization’s 25 years of helping underserved youth get to and succeed in college. At an Oxford symposium, Dalton will speak about how top-tier colleges can access talented youth from low-income communities.
Also speaking at the event is Harvard College Dean of Admissions & Financial Aid Bill Fitzsimmons. Symposium participants will discuss how to more broadly implement a new program at Oxford University supporting underserved youth and how to develop wider outreach efforts.
“The Oxford symposium is an opportunity to share knowledge gained through our core practices—Mentoring, Leadership Through Service, and Pathways to College and Career—and to collaborate on innovative strategies to ensure the right college fit for all students,” said Dalton.
The Lady Margaret Hall, one of Oxford University’s colleges, is convening the symposium.
