The Champlain Valley Film Series presents their third film in their Winter Series: King Richard – A crowd-pleasing, heartwarming story about Richard Williams and his daughters, Venus and Serena. The film will be shown on Saturday, February 19, at a new time, 7:00pm at the Whallonsburg Grange in Essex, New York.
**Please note per NYS and CDC guidelines, the Grange will now require proof of vaccination to attend indoor events.**
Will Smith gives the performance of his life in this inspirational family drama about perseverance and the pursuit of excellence. Based on the true story, “King Richard” follows the uplifting journey of a family whose unwavering resolve and unconditional belief ultimately delivers two of the world’s greatest sports legends, Serena and Venus Williams.

Tickets are $7 for adults and $4 for those under 18. The Whallonsburg Grange Hall is located at 1610 NYS Route 22, in Essex, New York. The Fall film series continues with Dune on March 5th and tentatively Summer of Soul on March 19th, with the Spring Movie Series soon to be announced.
