The Champlain Valley Film Series In order to help keep our community healthy, we won’t be showing movies at the Grange this fall. Instead, the Home Together Fall Film Series has picked four movies you can watch anytime on your own at home and then join a REEL TALK via Zoom. You can listen to a provocative discussion about the film between two special guests and submit your own questions. We can be Home Together with great movies and lively speakers until we can be together in person in front of the big screen at the Grange again.
Next up: Wadjda on Saturday, November 21, 8:00PM
Participants are to watch the film on their own, and join for a live Zoom “Reel Talk” with a discussion on the movie between professor of Gender and Women’s Studies at SUNY Plattsburgh Dr. Akanksha Misra and Arwa Mokdad, a senior at The University of Washington studying International Relations with a focus on Human Rights. Questions may be submitted to the moderator and will be responded to in the second portion of the program.
The Zoom Event is Free and Open to the public, but registration is required. Links may be found at the Grange’s Website. The Home Together Series concludes with Honeyland on December 5th. Visit www.thegrangehall.info for reviews, trailers and additional links and information.
