The Champlain Valley Film Series presents their second film in their Fall Series: Two Of Us – a film by Filippo Meneghetti. A powerful suspense thriller about love, loss, and the secrets we keep. It’s also the compassionate story of the sexuality and desire of two women in their 70s who reveal what it means to love and be loved in return. The film will be shown on Saturday, October 9, at 7:30pm at the Whallonsburg Grange in Essex, New York.
Nina and Madeleine, two retired women, have been secretly deeply in love for decades. From everyone’s point of view, including Madeleine’s family, they are simply neighbors living on the top floor of their building. They come and go between their two apartments, sharing the tender delights of everyday life together. Until the day their relationship is turned upside down by an unexpected event.
Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for those under 18. The Whallonsburg Grange Hall is located at 1610 NYS Route 22, in Essex, New York.
