The Champlain Valley Film Series will present the highly acclaimed movie, DUNKIRK, on Saturday, January 20 at 7:30 p.m. at the Whallonsburg Grange Hall, 1610 NYS Route 22 in Essex, NY.
Award-winning director Christopher Nolan’s gripping film tells the unforgettable true story of the 400,000 British and Allied troops who were trapped on the beach at Dunkirk, France in 1940, surrounded by the German army. A stunning film about courage and survival, it will be introduced by Dr. Andy Buchanan, lecturer in Global and Military History at UVM.
