Captain Fantastic Poster

The Champlain Valley Film Series will present the film Captain Fantastic on Saturday, Nov. 19, at 7:30 p.m. at the Whallonsburg Grange Hall.

You’ll love this heartfelt comedy about a family’s journey from their forest paradise to the mainstream world. Viggo Mortensen gives the performance of his career as a charismatic, devoted father who home-schools his six kids off the grid. “Not just one of the year’s best movies, but one of the best cast and best acted.” – New York Post

Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for those under 18. The Whallonsburg Grange Hall is located at 1610 NYS Route 22 at the intersection with Whallons Bay Road. For more information, contact info@cvfilms.org.

About Whallonsburg Grange Hall

The Grange Hall is managed by the Whallonsburg Civic Association, a 501(c)3 nonprofit through an agreement with the Town of Essex. The building is now one of the "destinations" in the region for films, music, theater, lectures and other community events.
