Robot & Frank
Set in the near future, Frank, a retired cat burglar, has two grown kids who are concerned he can no longer live alone. They are tempted to place him in a nursing home until Frank’s son chooses a different option: against the old man’s wishes, he buys Frank a walking, talking humanoid robot. What follows is an often hilarious and somewhat heartbreaking story about finding friends and family in the most unexpected places. (Whallonsburg Grange Hall)

New HD Projector
There is more exciting news from the Champlain Valley Film Society! They now have a new HD projector and a new movie screen that’s almost twice the size of the old one!
CVFS President, David Reuther, says “We weren’t able to show movies in high definition because our projector was 10 years old. But now, the quality of our shows rivals the theaters in Plattsburgh and Burlington. And this fall the Film Society began selling popcorn, snacks, and drinks so we offer a true movie theater experience.”
