The Champlain Valley Film Series, in order to help keep our community healthy, we won’t be showing movies at the Grange this winter. Instead, the Home Together Winter Film Series has picked five movies you can watch anytime on your own at home and then join a REEL TALK via Zoom. You can listen to a provocative discussion about the film by a special guest and submit your own questions. We can be Home Together with great movies and lively speakers until we can be together in person in front of the big screen at the Grange again.
Participants are to watch the film, THE PERSONAL HISTORY OF DAVID COPPERFIELD [you can rent on iTunes or Amazon streaming] on their own, and join for a live Zoom “Reel Talk” with a discussion on the movie with Elaine Ostry, an English Professor at SUNY Plattsburgh. This Reel Talk: Saturday, February 17, 7:30PM.
Questions may be submitted to the moderator or you can present it yourself in the second portion of the program.
The Zoom Event is Free and Open to the public, but registration is required. Links may be found at the Grange’s Website. This is the fourth movie in the Winter Home Together Series: March 13th – Mangrove, with 3 more TBD. Visit www.thegrangehall.info for reviews, trailers, and additional links and information.
