Create beautiful, fun greeting cards at this collage workshop led by Plattsburgh-based artist Alex Clark. Perhaps a personalized Christmas card made by the whole family? Or just create an art card on Alex’s handmade paper. Adults and families with children welcome! $10 for individual adults. $15 for families of 3 or over.
PLEASE REGISTER BY SATURDAY, DECEMBER 7.
The Materials:
Alex will provide his own handmade paper for you to build your collage on, as well as materials for the collage such as magazines, christmas wrapping, colored paper, and glue.
- PLEASE BRING any personalized images that you’d like to build into the collage – family photos, dog photos, or any other paper materials that you’d like to add. If you only have a digital photo, we can print a photo for you at the center for you to incorporate into your card.
- You are also encouraged to bring your own scissors, but it’s not necessary.
If you want to make multiple cards out of your art, we will have a color xerox machine on hand. We will provide card stock and each copy will cost 50 cents, which can be paid at the time of the event.
Please be there at 3pm to hear Alex’s instructions. After that you are free to make your art until 5:30pm.
